Tip of the Day 43: An Easier to Read Shot Time Stamp


If you are trying to record shot times on paper or on bags at a distance from the eDART screen there is a little tool available to make this easier. It displays the shot time in larger number so that you can read them at a distance. This can be useful when sampling parts without the Part Sampling tool. Specifically it is called the “Shot Time Display” and it looks like this:




Remember that the shot time display is updated at the end of injection forward. If you are taking a part out at the end of the shot then you have from the end of injection forward on that shot until the end of injection forward on the next shot to write the time down.
